Meeting the world’s growing demand for clean energy will require a range of resources and continuous innovation. That’s where we come in. Our portfolio spans the new energy value chain, from carbon-cutting technologies for oil & gas and power applications, to LNG, wind and hydrogen solutions. With an annual R&D spend of approximately 1 billion EUR, we’re making tomorrow different today through five fields of innovation.
Joint venture for the production of large-scale hydrogen electrolyzers
Siemens Energy and Air Liquide announced the creation of a joint venture dedicated to the production of renewable hydrogen electrolyzers on an industrial scale. Together, the Franco-German partnership will foster a European ecosystem for electrolysis and hydrogen technology and enable the emergence of a sustainable hydrogen economy in Europe. Both Groups will use the multi-gigawatt factory to supply stacks to their respective clients, serving the rapidly growing market.
While making natural gas an even cleaner bridge fuel, we build a road to hydrogen – bringing a net-zero future closer to reality. Innovation and collaboration with our partners and customers are key to reach this goal.
